Travis Johnson (TJ) is the President and CEO of Intermountain Trailer and has been in the transportation industry for nearly three decades. His first 10+ years were spent in the private truckload sector working for C.R. England in several management positions. In 2009, TJ, as part of an executive team, founded a startup business services company, EQUINOX Business Solutions providing business consulting, tax and bookkeeping solutions for individual truck drivers and small truck businesses. He maintained a level of ownership until January 2023. In 2014 he joined Prime Trailer as part of an acquisition and served as President until January 2017, when he formed Intermountain Trailer Sales & Service and acquired the full line semi-trailer dealerships from Prime Trailer in Salt Lake City, UT and Reno, NV. In February 2017, Intermountain Trailer expanded their full-line semi-trailer dealership footprint through another asset purchase in Denver, CO and just completed building a 2nd facility in Denver that is 40,000 sq/ft with 14 service bays on 33 acres giving Intermountain Trailer a total 44 service bays, 11 service trucks and 100+ employees across 3 states.
